This vintage dress dates to the 1950s, and it's absolutely gorgeous! The fabric has some stiffness similar to a taffeta, with an all over floral print in shades of lilac, purple and blue on a pale greenish off-white background. The skirt is really fluffy on its own - there is no crinoline used in these photos! There is tulle or some kind of fluffy lining sandwiched inside the skirt fabric, so it naturally stays nice and full. There's a contrasting olive green gathered waist, with a giant bow on the back that drapes all the way down to the hem. The fitted bodice is sleeveless, and there is a metal zipper closure. This dress is in incredible condition with only some very minor fading/discoloration to the green bow. It would best fit a size XS/S.
